‘Yan ang naramdaman ko when I saw this video on YouTube. I played it over and over again. Mga 10 times siguro. And it gave me the same feeling…I almost had a heart attack! :-) Janina San Miguel’s Q&A portion during the Bb. Pilipinas 2008 Pageant was very entertaining — and humiliating. She made the entire nation laugh hilariously with the way she answered the question. I feel sorry for her…And I can’t deny the fact that I was embarrassed too — knowing that she will be representing our country in Ukraine for the upcoming Miss World pageant.Yes, believe it or not — she won!
And until now I am finding that hard to believe. Pakisapak nga ako, please!

But don’t get me wrong, okay? Being bad at english is not a crime and we certainly should not punish or mock her for that. What I find so unacceptable with this whole thing is the fact that she ridiculously tried speaking a language that she obviously does not know at all, when she could’ve answered the question in tagalog.

Point number 2: She didn’t even answer the question. She just made uncalled for excuses, for crying out loud! So what if she’s only 17 years old? Who cares if it’s her “first pageant ever”?

Anyway, It’s bothering me that the judges made her win. Unbelievable. What were they thinking?!
