My Inspirations This 2009

I was reading Bianca’s blog a while ago and was delighted to know about the people who inspire her. At the end of her post, she asked her readers, “How about you? What inspires you?”

So there. Since I thought her post was cool, I decided to make a list of my own. She’s right. Inspiration is everywhere! So we might as well let the whole world know about it!

Here’s my own list of people that inspire me this 2009.

Francis MagalonaMahatma GandhiKim Atienza

FRANCIS MAGALONA
For some unknown reason, my heart broke when I heard of his death. I mourned and cried with his family even if they don’t know me. It’s like all of a sudden I became the fan I never thought I was. I started listening to his songs :music: again and was glad to be reminded that I should always be proud that I am a Filipino no matter what happens. And that’s the legacy he left in my heart through his songs. May your soul rest in peace, FM! :hearty:

MAHATMA GANDHI
He is one of my favorite philosophers. His sayings truly inspire me. And for the record, these are the ones that I live by.

  • “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
  • “Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”
  • “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
  • KIM ATIENZA
My family and I love watching Matanglawin every Sunday because we learn a lot from this show. And of course, we don’t appreciate just the show, but also the host — Kuya Kim Atienza. Since I get to watch him every week, I can’t help but admire his love for animals, his eloquence, his dedication, and his willingness to try ANYTHING to give justice to every topic that they feature on the show. Job well done, Kuya Kim!

How about you? Who/what inspires you? Don’t include any family members ha!

for me, my inspiration is kuya kim!his cool. I always, i mean, our family always watch matanglawin. It’s so informative compare to other shows from other channel. I’ve seen shows like his’ but wla talagang panama sa matanglawin.

No wonder that the shows got lots of awards.
