I don’t how many times I’ve seen this video clip on Godtube (now Tangle), but I still cry everytime I share this with others and watch it with them. I was totally moved and awakened! It reminded me how God sacrificed his own precious son for our salvation. So each and every one of us should not waste the life that was given to us by our Creator.
I knew I had to grab a copy of this short-film the moment I saw it. I dropped by at House of Praise  which is just 3 minutes away from my office, but to no avail.
So I tried my luck online and saw that it’s available at ChristianCinema.Com. I ordered it last December, paid $25 through Paypal and received the package one month later. To my surprise, I received two DVDs! I’m thinking of giving the other one away. Let me know if anyone is interested. I’ll give it for free. Just send me an email here. But if more than one blogger will contact me for the DVD, then I need to choose who to give it to.

Anyway, let me share this awesome (but heart-wrenching) video with you. I hope it will leave a great impact on your lives too. Watch this and be blessed!
Before I pursue blogging about my six-day adventure in Bohol in January, let me just tell you that I was in Puerto Galera last week with my team mates. We were all very stressed out so we agreed that a memorable summer getaway would undoubtedly ease our stress away. I brought my husband along with me since he hasn’t been there too. We had a lot of fun!

Aside from island hopping and snorkeling (yes, I finally tried snorkeling for the first time and I soooo loved it!), what I enjoyed the most in Puerto Galera is SHOPPING!!! Beach dresses, t-shirts, board shorts, swim suits, sarongs, beach bags, slippers and all sorts of souvenirs are cheap there. So I went shopping until I dropped! Hahaha!
Here are some of my favorite photos taken by my husband.

Travel tip:
Always stay at a beach front resort especially if you’re traveling with a big group so you’ll have a quicker and easier access to the beach. In my experience during our recent stay in Puerto Galera, some of my team mates spent an ample time sleeping/staying in the room because they’re too lazy to go out. My god.
I had fun, sure, but too much time had been wasted.
:exclamation: Here’s the continuation of the first part of our countryside tour. :bleh:
When I learned from kuya Tatsky that our next stop would be Hinagdanan Cave, I got pretty excited since it’s one of the tourist spots in Bohol that I’d really like to see. I even searched for its pictures online prior to our trip and was truly fascinated by its unique beauty. :hearty:
This cave has a very interesting history, by the way. It was discovered in the 16th century by a haciendero (land owner) who saw two adjacent holes on the ground while cutting up some weeds. Thinking that his discovery might lead to something else, he dropped some stones and to his surprise, he heard a resounding splash of water! So that instantly gave him the conclusion that this was a hole leading to a cave. Smartass, eh? :bleh: To gain access to the underground cave, he had to create a ladder. And there he saw dripping stalactites from the ceiling and protruding stalagmites on the ground. Plus, a deep lagoon connecting to the sea!
At the entrance, we were welcomed by the two cave tour guides on duty that day. One of them led us to the steep and narrow staircase going down to the cave. I was soooo excited! (and a little nervous… )

It was dark inside the cave. It smelled a little musty too. But at least it didn’t smell like urine just like how other travelers described it on their blogs. Lucky us! :bleh:

I glanced up and saw dripping stalactites at the ceiling. My jaw dropped in awe. But at the back of my mind, I was a little worried that those stalactites might drop on our heads! Hahaha. Talk about paranoia!

I was surprised at how knowledgeable our tour guide was when he started telling us about the cave. He was very nice and took the liberty of taking our photos and adjusting our camera settings so that we could still have nice shots inside the cave despite the darkness. Thank you, Nards!

Our next stop is Mag-aso Falls in Antequera, Bohol. To be continued…
:exclamation: Travel Tip: You’ll find the cheapest tarsier ref magnets, key chains and T-shirts at Hinagdanan Cave. Don’t forget to buy these items there.

I was doing some ad hoc tasks in the office when I overheard two of my officemates talking about Francis Magalona’s death.
“What?! Francis M. is dead? When? How come? I thought he just had a bone marrow transplant?! Oh my god, he’s too young and has 8 children!” I was totally shocked that I couldn’t stop talking.
I was told that he passed away at 12 noon yesterday. So apparently, I was the last person in the office to know about this heart-breaking news. They said it was announced at 12 noon on Eat Bulaga. So being the internet-junkie that I am, I searched for a video footage online.
And silently, tears started falling from my eyes while I was watching this video.
This is really sad! You might wanna see this too.

I grew up singing the man’s songs. His love for his country was undeniably overflowing. The lyrics of his songs have always reminded me that I should always be proud that I am a Filipino no matter what happens. Kaleidoscope World, The Man from Manila and Mga Kababayan Ko are his songs that truly inspire not just me, but the many Filipinos across the nation. And oh! Who would ever forget about the love songs Cold Summer Nights and Hangga’t Yakap? I love those songs too! :hearty:
Anyway, I came across his blog (Francis Magalona.Multiply.Com) today and quoted below was his last post dated Jan. 14, 2009. The way he battled against cancer was admirable beyond words. I was really touched!
Good evening people. I am getting prepared for my 4th Chemotherapy cycle, and I will be admitted tonight at The Medical City. I will be doing some tests tomorrow, wish me luck. Friday I begin my 4th cycle which is a Hi-Dose kind, as will be taking 6 grams of Cytarabinâ„¢ a day every other day for 3 days.
I will be at the 14th floor of the TMC, as usual. I brought alot reading materials (bible included!) and dvds to keep me company while I do my treatment. I will be doing my radiation treatment by February and my PBSCT (Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplant) will be done by March.
I look forward to the pain as I know my journey is on full speed ahead. I will not be bold to say that without asking a favor from you all. PLEASE PRAY for me as I undergo treatment. Your prayers, as always, have sustained me. And am sure the Lord will listen to all our prayers. To His will I submit myself.
God bless you, my friend.
PS: I will be needing blood donors for blood and platelets. Please go to the lower ground floor of The Medical City and donate blood in my name. For platelets Apheresis you may go have yourself screened at the Phil. Nat’l Red Cross at the Pier in Manila. I am type O positive. Thank you again.
May he rest in peace… :sigh: I’m quite sure that through his songs, his legacy will remain forever. See you again, Kiko! Thank you for sharing your wonderful music with us!
The Master Rapper of the Philippines is now at peace with his Master. :7:
He also put up another website entitled Francis M.’s Happy Battle. Click here.
Trivia:
Have I seen him in person?
Yes I have. He was one of the guests at our company Christmas Party about three years ago. And I’d say his appeal among his audience hasn’t changed since he made it big in the music industry. He still carried that very same charisma he had when I was in elementary school. People were screaming his name at the top of their lungs (including me!). The applause was deafening. What I found rather amazing was the fact that he still looked so young despite his age. He still looked like a teen-ager! But needless to say, everyone was so happy with his performance that night.
I was starstruck. I think we all were.
That’s Francis M.
