Wordpress 2.5.1 upgrade using Fantastico

At last, I’ve finally upgraded this blog from Wordpress 2.3 to 2.5.1!

I’ve been looking for the best and easiest way to upgrade my Wordpress installation for this blog but all the tutorials I read online was too complicated. I was scared to lose all my files and start from scratch again (just like what happened to my very first Wordpress blog).

Anyway, Dhadha suggested that I upgrade to Wordpress 2.5.1 using Fantastico Deluxe in cPanel. Thanks, sis, for the great suggestion! To be honest, I did not know that Fantastico can do this whole upgrade process with no sweat!

Don’t worry because your plugins and themes will not be affected. But it is still a good practice to back up all your files just in case something goes wrong.

    wow finally n__n – nung unang gamit ko din ng cpanel hindi ko din alam at first — pero i think ngaun medyo may problem ung fantastico sa cpanel, i dunno if i am the only one experiencing this pero ayun, ewan ko kung until now ganun pa din XD

    hay naku palpak yung installation ko kaya tignan mo naman ano nangyari sa pinkishneaky.com, hahaha! burado lahat ng files! buti nalang nagco-crosspost ako sa pinkishneaky.labyu.net hehe!!!

    wala ako fantastico sa cpanel, kaya lalong ewan ano gagawin ko sa pinkishneaky.
